Best Foundations for Oily Skin ( High End and Drugstore)

We all know the struggle to find the best foundation for your skin type as the market is loaded with products and claims to give you that oil-free and flawless look. But are you able to achieve that look??  or getting clogged pores with a heavy foundation or a patchy looking face?

I know the feeling when even the most expensive foundations fail to work on your skin and you feel that it's probably your skin that does not go well along with any foundation or maybe the foundation is not worth it. But the truth is at times the only problem is a mismatch of the product you are applying and your skin. And this is why now we stress so much on the skin type, texture and undertone to find the holy grail foundation for your skin type.

Having Oily skin Myself I have personally tested and used these foundations enough to finally post a review on them. The formula of these does work well with oily skin however, you much get a color match from a professional or find your undertone ( comment below to know how) to get your perfect match.

1) Estee Lauder Double Wear - This is a great buy. Wih medium to buildable coverage, it does not look cakey at all. Also, it won't clog your pores or make you break out. It also has SPF 10 which is not very high but still can give u some sun protection. With 42 shades to choose from you can surely match your color well.

   2) Clinique beyond perfecting foundation and concealer- Now if you are looking for a high coverage foundation to cover any blemishes or marks, Clinique does that for you. A little bit on the pricey side but a little bit goes a long way. lightweight on the skin. Overall, a great product and does live up to the claims. es a long way with 1 fl oz. 27 skin perfecting shades to choose from. No SPF. It does not look extremely matte or patchy. Feels your skin but better. Long wear.

   3) Nyx total control Drop Foundation - 

Always excited for a great drugstore Foundation. Everyday wear, non-Patchy, extremely lightweight, skin-like finish with a velvety-matte formula. Amazing Foundation with a great Price tag. Medium
coverage can be built as per need. A total of 24 shades to choose from. No SPF. Transfer proof.
Overall a great affordable Foundation.

   4) L'oreal Paris 24 hour infallible Liquid Foundation -  I bought this one as it had this hype of being the longest wear foundation. And the good news is it does last a very long time, can't say 24 hours as no one wears a foundation for that long but it does pass an 8 hours test for me. It gives a Matte Finish and helps to give you an oil-free look all day. It has a medium coverage and can cover most of the blemishes and marks. Has no SPF in it.  Available in 11 shades in India.

5)  Maybelline Fit me Matte and Poreless foundation - If you are looking for a semi-matte and a natural finish this one is a great option. Extremely lightweight formula with watery consistency it blends easily. I recommend using a brush for more coverage. This is great for normal and oily skin but needs to be careful while applying on dry skin. 5-6 hour wear can get slightly oily in the later hours. The only drawback is it does not come with a pump or an applicator so getting the product out can be messy. Comes in around 40 shades some newly launched might not be available online. No SPF.
