After weeks of rumours the date is finally out when Sonam and Anand Ahuja will tie knots. Let's check what special preparations they have made so far for this Big Day






Prepare yourself to witness Bollywood's another lavish wedding on 7th and 8th may in Geneva as per reports. As the trend goes by after Anuska and Virat tied knots in Tuscany, Italy for their destination wedding this time its another destination wedding on the cards for Sonam and Anand.



Like any other parent, Sonams dad Mr Anil Kapoor has been personally inviting his family and friends over the phone. This will be a two-day ceremony of sangeet and mehndi which is going to be held at Geneva.
The nuptials as per the traditional Hindu wedding will happen soon after the two-day mehndi and Sangeet ceremony, however, the date and venue for that have not been yet announced.
It will be a close family function and we might get to witness an only inner family of Sonam and Anand at the nuptials. We can also expect an extravagant wedding reception after the wedding and witness some Bollywood celebrities at the event.

1. With the Kapoor's making all the arrangements in a full-on celebration mode, Sonam has taken out some time to finalise her attire for all the events. For this, she trusted famous designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo. Isn't it exciting?

2. According to sources this famous and soon to be a wedded couple was introduced to each other by Pernia Qureshi who happens to be a mutual friend of both Sonam and Anand. Those who don't know much about Anand,  after he completed his studies in the University of Pennsylvania, he worked in Amazon.com in America for about 10 years before he finally decided to come back to New Delhi, India.
Now, a famous Businessman and Entrepreneur, Anand Ahuja has a turnover of 3000 crores.  Yes, you heard it right. .

3. It's been always seen that Sonam has been a private person and she never likes to talk about her marriage plans and her relationships. The "veere di wedding" actress even refrained herself from saying much even after so many speculations of Her and Anand's wedding were in the air. Well, that's her personal preference as everyone has the right to privacy. But now when the big news is out and she has accepted that these rumors are true. Her fans are all excited and waiting for the big day to happen.

4: While Sonam is busy geting her hair, makeup and other things sorted, Anand is posting some motivational quotes on online media. Talking about the invitations, the card will be floral,festive and summer themed and we do expect that the ceremony which is being held at the hLalit will be a close family affair.



Putting a closure to all the rumours which are all over the social media the Kapoors have finally disclosed the wedding date with an official statement which says" that both the families share great joy and pride in announcing the wedding date as 8th May and has requested the media to take a back step as they want the ceremony to be a private event.
