Face masks that actually work!! ( tried and tested)

Hello, beauties,
I hope everyone is doing well.

Well as the summers have officially begun and where we are enjoying long evening walks and chilled icecreams and drinks, our skin is probably a little disappointed. With such high temperature, our skin wants something extra to keep itself hydrated and smooth.

Along with drinking a lot of smoothies and juices, we need to treat our skin topically. And for that face masks and treatments come handy.

Talking of facemasks. The market is loaded with some extremely promising products. But to pick the gems we need to test some completely random products that can actually harm your skin with some strong and abrasive chemicals.
To overcome this, I have tried and tested some of the masks which will be great to detoxify and hydrate your skin along will adding glow and removing tan.

Well to start off. My skin is oily to combination and it is very sensitive and acne prone. So if you have a similar situation going on then look out for these masks.

1: In the top list is the new masks from the loreal range. These are the pure clay Masks. And Yes they are amazing. Have tried them all and they work fabulously. The three different masks are for different skin concerns. The black to detoxify which you can use when your skin needs some detoxification from the pollutants and Dirt.
The next is the pink pure clay mask which contains red algae to help exfoliate skin and reduce the texture making it more polished and smooth.

Green pure clay mask is specifically to mattify and purify your skin from within. It will clear any excess oil and dirt to give you a fresh matte look these summers. Also, it contains eucalyptus which is very effective anti-inflammatory and antibacterial oil.
All the masks retail for INR 850 EA

2: Now if you are like me who doesn't wear a sunscreen all the time or even if you do, you cannot save yourself from the scorching heat and surely will get tanned. The best mask to get tan off your face and neck is one by Vedic Line. If you are not new to this blog you must be aware that I use many products from the Vedic line including their mask, cleanser, toner and facial oils. And most of the products that I use suit me pretty well.  It also contains some essential oils like eucalyptus and clove oil.

The great thing is that this mask is extremely affordable and will not break your bank.
Retails for INR 400

3: I have always trusted Himalaya products when it comes to skincare. And Himalaya herbal purifying neem face pack is another great pick. Initially, I was a little unsure if this would make any difference as after using so many neem packs in the past I have fewer hopes for this one too. But to my surprise, this was a right Neem pack that does actually work. After applying a layer. It has a slightly rough texture and while removing it does slightly exfoliate your skin leaving it extremely clean and smooth.

The main ingredients are Neem, Multani mitti and turmeric which have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
This retails for INR 130.

4: Charcoal is a product which is being raved about a lot these days for its beneficial effects yo the skin. And charcoal is a miracle product, especially for acne-prone skins. Although any charcoal pack will do the trick one gem is ENN black friyay pore cleansing mask.  The main ingredient in this is Charcoal but it also has aloe vera and lactic acid which are great for your skin. This is a must try.
This retails for INR 850

5: This is another Charcoal mask but its a peel off mask to remove blackheads. The name Charcoal mask cream does exactly what it claims. It does help clear blackheads and impurities and leaves the skin quirky clean and smooth. As its a peel-off mask, it does involve pain in the process of taking the mask off but it's worth the pain. It does not help much with acne scarring but its anyways a great product.

Retails for 235
