Wanted to review this product for the longest time. And after finally getting my hands on this, I decided to post a Review on Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Primer. Not so recently anymore, Rihanna Came out with Fenty Beauty and the makeup and fashion industry was blown away by the news of the product launch and so was extremely difficult to get the products, especially in India. Her First Product launch was the Foundation and the Primer both of which are extremely raved about and many makeup gurus swear by these products.

But do these products work equally good on Indian skin and Texture? You will get your Answer soon.

Not long back while my visit overseas I finally bought Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Primer in Soft matte which is the only shade in the primer range. And after giving this primer a fair amount of usage time I decided that its time to post a Review. 

Availability: This Product is not available in stores in India yet but you can buy this online at Fenty Website. This product might as well be available on Amazon and eBay but the originality of product cannot be assured. Also buying this from Sephora or Fenty will charge you extra for the overseas delivery and other customs which can overall make the price of this primer almost double. So, if you have an overseas friend coming over then you might as well have a great opportunity to ask for a favor. 

Packaging: Fenty Pro filter comes in a beautiful, classy glass bottle which looks luxurious, unlike some plastic containers. The great thing is the dispenser of this product which is a pump for extremely easy and clean application without any product wastage. Also, The glass bottle is quite heavy so you need to handle the product carefully. The soft Pink packaging is to die for.


Usage: As we know a primer is meant to make our foundation stay for longer and this does live up to the claims and your foundation will stay in place for long hours. However, if you have an oily Skin this product might not be the best primer for you as the formula of this primer is more like a moisturiser and tends to get oilier throughout the day but you can still work with this by using a blotting paper from the same range or by powdering it at times. This will best suit normal to Dry skin. And its smell is not overpowering just a slight hint of Vanilla.


Consistency: It looks and feels exactly like a moisturizer. Does not fill the pores like the benefit Porefessionals and the Smashbox ones, however, it does blur out the imperfections. Also, it works best with the Fenty Beauty Foundation as compared to other foundations in Market. It does not feel heavy at all. you can kind of compare it with the Clinique moisturizers which looks and feels pretty much the same.

Price: It Retails for $32 online which is Approx INR 2500.  And you will get 32 ml Product which
is on the pricier side but a couple Pumps can work on the entire face.

  • Can make the oily skin look more oily
  • Works best with Fenty beauty Foundation


Overall: My call on this super hyped Fenty Beauty Instant retouch Primer is that it is worth a Try if you are keen to spend that amount on a Primer. I would recommend other primers if you have Extremely oily or acne prone skin as it does not work well with that Particular skin type.
